Pat won it all in 2003 with a excellent time of 5:36:29.  Even though Pat took over 10 minutes off his time it wasn't enough to catch the Canadian bushwhacker.  Pat nearly didn't make it this year at all after he was forced to drop out this spring for medical reasons.  We were surprised to see Pat at the start and were glad that his recovery allowed him to compete... and compete he did!
